So I'm on vacation in Florida with our 12 Justa with less than 4K on it that is having issues with the directionals staying on after making a turn in either direction. The euro directionals work. Three flashes and shuts off. But when at a stop with the directional flashing in the direction I'm turning will not cancel out after making the turn. I have to turn on the hazards to cancel out the directional.

I'm over an hour and a half away from the closest dealer which is MINI of Fort Myers. So any ideas if there is something I can do to fix it myself?

 

You've tried the turn signal stalk to cancel them?
Either way, you're looking at a stop into the dealer for a diagnosis.

I did try the turn signal stalk to cancel them everytime but they would not cancel. It's odd that the stalk feels completely different from my 09 MCS's. This one feels cheap.

So anyways took the car out for a short trip this afternoon and the signals worked fine.

We called them on the day this happened. But since it started to function correctly I didn't go down for a visit. But now the air bag light keeps coming on. I am sick and tired of new cars having issues and visiting a dealer every week. Thats why we replaced the Fiat 500 with a Justa but now the Justa is at the dealer every week.

 

Sound like a related deal, something with the steering column. Lets hope this is last of the issues. I agree with your explanation of knuckle heads (aka douchebags).
