Got home from work in my one old non s coupe yesterday and when I pulled into garage I heard a pretty loud rattle from engine area while it was idling. It's going back to shop Tuesday to have them try again with it pulling to left and the wheel arch scuff. Now the rattle, any ideas about this new issue? I wish I had more positive posts to contribute here but these initial issues are souring my mood towards mini especially after I just dumped my lemon for the mini!

 

You're having these problems with your 2012 Mini or another one? Without any details all I can think of at this point is to check the oil level, that's the number one cause for engine rattling in Minis. After that it gets more complicated...
