I've read about all the squeeks and rattles--now I have them myself in my '02 MCS: sunroof, center section upright, rear door latch, passenger door (speaker?), and now a new weird squeek when I let the clutch out in 1st gear. ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THEM? Thanks in advance.

1st off, try out the [search] function

-sunroof, if it's the wind deflectors rattling, apply felt/foam to them
-most likely the hatch latch - service bulletin, you'll need to get it replaced. Also could be you need your snubbers adjusted.
-passenger door card and speakers have a tendency to rattle, need gasketing foam
-clutch pedal squeak - LOL, good luck fixing that one - a notorious BMW issue
-play around with the center section uprights, they probley just need some foam/felt

Temperature extremes bring out the worst in rattles. Good Luck

As the odo creeped past 1,430 miles, the sunroof started rattling. This morning it was cold (for the SF Bay Area) at around 35 degrees. The car had a coating of ice when I came out and headed to work. All of a sudden I stated getting rattles from the previously-quiet sunroof. It sounds like it's coming from both sides of the roof, inside somewhere--I can't pin it down, but it has that classic plastic rattling against plastic sound. Very annoying. Hadn't planned on a trip to the local dealer so soon. The only other problem I've encountered is a non-defrosting driver's side mirror.

I called ASKMINI per the above post and reference number provided by MINIDivision. The MA said that it referred to a rattling sunroof in a 02 MINI, but that it should also apply to my o4. He suggested a trip to the dealer. So, it's off to MINI of Mt. View.
