Have a 09 r56 seems my clutch when I depress it to shift gears on it's way down it runs into a black tubular part right above the dead pedal the part has a metal tube on the bottom of it , what the he'll is that and is everyones clutch doing that or did the prior owner push too much to the left with his foot????
Patience, grasshopper. Sometimes even the Jedi Council does not consult the Force within 14 hours...
For what it's worth: no, I've not really encountered what you're describing with my clutch pedal. Sometimes my foot will catch on something (may even be whatever it is you're describing), but never the pedal itself; and I just attribute those occurrences to my foot placement being a bit off on the clutch pedal.

Thanks master hey but just for craps and giggles check on your clutch on the floor board and see if you have a black tubular part with a metal hose or tube just above your dead pedal which when the pedal is depressed could come in contact with it. Thx again
) on business, so I won't be able to check until the end of the week.Perhaps someone else on the forum is able to check theirs sooner...?
Thx Doug must have been the way the previous owner stepped on the clutch,
When I get down there and depress it by hand one can see how the back of the clutch pedal hits the edge of the cylinder.
A couple of guys have mentioned in another thread there might have been a TSB on this, I plan on taking it in for service thx for all your help

I don't know if it is related, but I had the clutch pedal popping issue... made a popping sound when released. All I know is after 50k miles and the 4th clutch assembly, it no longer pops and actually shifts smooth and predictably.
