Patience, grasshopper. Sometimes even the Jedi Council does not consult the Force within 14 hours...

For what it's worth: no, I've not really encountered what you're describing with my clutch pedal. Sometimes my foot will catch on something (may even be whatever it is you're describing), but never the pedal itself; and I just attribute those occurrences to my foot placement being a bit off on the clutch pedal.

Thanks master hey but just for craps and giggles check on your clutch on the floor board and see if you have a black tubular part with a metal hose or tube just above your dead pedal which when the pedal is depressed could come in contact with it. Thx again

I'll check. But at the moment, I'm away from Coruscant () on business, so I won't be able to check until the end of the week.

Perhaps someone else on the forum is able to check theirs sooner...?

You're speaking about the clutch input cylinder.
I have an '09 JCW Coupe. I depressed the pedal by hand and watched the action; my pedal does not hit the cylinder.

Thx Doug must have been the way the previous owner stepped on the clutch,
When I get down there and depress it by hand one can see how the back of the clutch pedal hits the edge of the cylinder.

A couple of guys have mentioned in another thread there might have been a TSB on this, I plan on taking it in for service thx for all your help

I don't know if it is related, but I had the clutch pedal popping issue... made a popping sound when released. All I know is after 50k miles and the 4th clutch assembly, it no longer pops and actually shifts smooth and predictably.

This happened to me. The dealer can install some spacers to make sure it doesn't slam into those lines. Mine is perfect now!
