Motor mount? Tensioner? I did notice that my detroit tuned tensioner stop is broke?? NEED HELP

You can often see (on other cars at least...never looked at mini) a motor mount let the engine move when you put it in forward and reverse. The engine rocks. In my cougar, it hit the hood years ago.

How did the big one look under the car?

My tensioner broke too, but I don't think the tensioner will make a clunk, that sounds like a mount for engine, trans or front end.

I am running into a similar problem. The clunk/knocking you are hearing I can't tell if it's from the left or right but it is definitely there when I hit the gas hard and it seems like I feel it in the gas pedal as well. Not sure though. There is a black stain under my upper motor mount, but it is covered in a light coat of dirt/dust and it isn't wet so I'm not sure if it's been busted for a while or if the stain is from a previous busted engine mount.

I am ordering replacement mounts from way next week when I get paid. I am also going to order replacement ball joints and control arm bushings and replace those at the same time.
