Any look with aftermarket ball joints?

Misspelled the title... awesome...

So as I found out over the summer that at about 35k miles it is time to replace my outer ball joints, being off from school means I finally have time to do it.

Looking around I see that the stock item costs 86 bucks a pop, which is obscene. However I have seen some other options out there and I am wondering if anyone has experience with them. Has anybody had any experience with non OEM joints? I was looking ta the $30 pelican parts sells under the lemforder name.

Side question. The service manual says to replace the bolts holding the joint in, is that typically done or is just a case of "red loctite and call it good".

thanks
