Firm brake pedal but no brakes, high tick over

I had a bit off work done to my 06 MCS and now I've got a rock hard brake pedal but hardly any brakes. I hope its not the brake servo or ABS unit.

2nd problem, high tick over, revs between 1100-1300 RPM?

Would anyone no the cause of these problems?

or if you put new pads on..they are not yet bedded, or the rotors are glazed or there was grease, fingerprints or other contaminants on the rotors/pads from the work you had done.
The type of work you had done would help....

If you are referring to the one in the picture below, yes, that is what give you power brakes.

Yes the pipe has came out off the plug. Looks like I have to do a bit of stripping down.

Thanks guys.
