When my car is running and the clutch isn't pushed in, there is a rattling noise. When I push the clutch in, the noise goes away. I'm new here so I hope I posted this in the right section, I guess "general" would be alright for this.

I was just wondering if I should worry about this? If so, what could the problems be and how could I fix this?

Mine does this too. It's a bad flywheel. Just run it until you need a clutch job, or replace it and still have a new clutch put on while the gearbox is off.

 

Are you in r53 or r56 not that it matters other then warranty. Hmmm go for the whole gambit racing clutch and lightweight flywheel

 

Do a search for clutch rattle. There are a few recent threads covering it.
