It happend 2x to me. I was taking sharp turns on off ramps and while the steering wheel was turned all the way i was accelerating and there was a rumbling by the left side tire. Is it supose to do that if the steering wheel is turned to max?

I have a 2004 CVT mini, now im sure there are mini owners like me who occasionally on sharp turns like to press the gas a bit more so dont bash on me.....

You're actually supposed to merge with traffic coming off the onramp at a decent speed.

Unfortunately, I have no clue what your problem is.

 

maybe your control arm bushing is worn. Do you mean "rumbling" as a sound or a vibration felt in the steering wheel?

 

vibration but its not felt in the steering wheel you feel it in the front of the car.

 

Im having the same problem and its very loud! I thought it was my exauhst rattling but im begining to think its something more serious because im starting to hear it more up front. Im taking it to the dealership as soon as i have a day off from school.
