Broke my headlight (pics inside). Need part numbers.
A BIG piece of a shredded tire flew from the bottom of the car in front of me and hit the right front area of my 03 MCS on the freeway. In addition to scratches on the bonnet, the right headlight is damaged. Right before MTTS Los Angeles!!! I was going to wash/wax the car tomorrow; I guess that's out of the question now.
The plastic cover is gone, and the chromed plastic housing inside is damaged as well. When I touch that part, it moves up and down (I taped that part to block any further damage -shown in picture 4).
Both the Xenon and the high beam work fine (same brightness, no flickering, levels fine). From inside, everything looks OK...
So, what do I need to replace here? I hope NOT the whole assembly! I checked the RealOEM site and the following page shows all the parts, but I dont see anything labeled "inside" the housing.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...49&hg=63&fg=05
I would appreciate any inputs and part numbers to order if possible. Thanks in advance!

Well, for future reference -as I feared- there is no option to "fix" these. Everything is a one sealed unit. Steve had one and replaced it for $250. The headlight wash didn't work on the replacement, so they took the spray from my broken headlight.
I kept the broken one, since the bulbs are still intact. Is the Xenon bulb easy to replace if it stops working?
Washed the car afterwards and ready to go to MTTS Los Angeles tomorrow!!!
Thanks!
