Passenger side window won't work.

I push down on the toggle switch, my window makes almost a click sound but doesn't move. Any ideas to what the problem may be?

In mine, with the MCAW circuit, the connector worked loose from the back of the toggle assembly, causing the passenger side window not to work. Pushed the connector back on and everything is fine.

I had to give the passenger door a Fonzie today to get it working again. How hard is it to get to the connection? I'd like to make sure it's connected properly and not just barely.

I have that same issue only on really HOT days. Usually as I get moving or if the car cools down, it starts working again. I do have the Auto-Up circuit, so that could be the issue as well...Never have tried hitting above the speaker...hmm...

Same problem here, on HOT summer days, the passenger window stops working. It would do every day all summer. Now that the weather is not that HOT, the problem is gone.

What i manage to find out, there is an overheat protection to the motor, and because the temperature in the door gets very high...

Thanks guys, very helpful. I have noticed that it happens on hot days as well, and its not only the passenger side, but both sides. I didn't know there was an overheat protection...

My SA told me to hit right above the speaker on the door as well and it works every time. I too have that problem especially in hot weather.

Bad window motors

I just replaced both window motors in my 02. I found a TSB talking about cracked "A" pillar plastic trim. The cause may be a window out of adjustment or inoperative window motor. A couple of weeks ago I noticed the trim cracked on the drivers side and could not figure out how it happened. I had noticed my passenger window was inop at times and especially in hotter weather. I never noticed the drivers window having a problem. But last week the passenger widow stopped working for 2 days, the "Fonzie" didn't even work. The following week the passenger window started to work but, the drivers side didn't. Even pulling the door panel and rapping it with a small hammer didn't help. I replaced the drivers side motor with a "new and improved" unit, the new models have a black manual drive screw where the old ones are gray. Then I replaced the passenger side a few days later. BTW, it's way easier to replace the motor when it's working, with the window all the way up the retaing nuts cannot be removed so you can't pull out the glass. That's why I didn't wait for the passenger side motor to fail. Part numbers for the new motors are 67 62 6 955 875 on the left 67 62 6 955 876 on the right. They list for about $100.00 each.
