HID Problems, other threads haven't solved yet
Hey everyone!
I have been looking through all of the HID issue threads, and I still cannot solve my problem. I have a 2003 Mini Cooper S, and my passenger side headlight (low beam) doesn't work. Both high beams work. I tried switching the bulbs, and still passenger is out. I tried switching the ballasts from one side to the other. The passenger side is still out. I pulled the passenger side light assembly and plugged it in to the drivers side wiring, still did not light.
Any help would be amazing!!
Thanks

Update: So I think it turned out to be an ignitor. Unfortunately, every forum I read where an ignitor is bad, the person buys a new headlight assembly. I, being the poor college student I am, decided that I can't afford a new headlight assembly. Used they are at least 200 for a decent one. So I decided to order an HID kit from amazon for 60 dollars and retrofit it to the mini headlight assembly. They work pretty good, and it was very simple to do. If there is any interest, I will make a write up on how to do it. Pics to come.
