Antenna Broke

This isn't quite a stock issue, but I was unsure where else to post this. My wife decided to be nice and wash my MINI. She took it to an automatic car wash She didn't take the antenna off and the antenna broke and took the top part of the base with it .

Does anyone know how I can fix this without taking it to the MINI dealer? I work on computers for a living, so I tend to have 10 thumbs for car work.

It's not *too* hard of a part to replace. You'll need to get replacement parts...you can look up the parts you'll need based on your year/model at realoem.com, and then order them online at pelicanparts.com. If you search around here you will also find instructions on how to lower the rear part of the headliner to get at the antenna. From there it's pretty straightforward - screw the old base out, and screw the new one on.
