Get some PIAA Super Silicone. They are the best things...since....silicone?

Love mine, expensive, but they are like rain-x-ing your windshield every time you wipe.

Wow that just did not sound right....

tirerack has the PIAA's possibly some other NAM vendors.

Outmotoring carries the PIAA blades and +1 on them being great. Aaron sells them with the left wiper longer than the right wiper as they should be.

I just got a set of the Rain-X silicone (both 18 inch) and I love them....no chatter of any kind even on a totally dry windscreen.....you can get them at most any parts store....about 17$ each but well worth the cost....haven't tried the PIAA blades yet but I'm sure silicone is silicone....haven't found a local place to get the rear other than the dealer....I think I'm gonna try another Rain-X blade and cut to fit...should get 2 or 3 blades outta it

Just installed the Bosch Icons; here in Washington state they get lots of testing. So far they outperform anything else I've tried. No lifting at speeds that can get me into trouble, and they are as quiet as a whisper. Nothing made for the rear; I've just been buying refills and cutting to fit.

Wiper Blades

To try and clarrify

If you want refills for the OEM blades you'll need one og the MINI part suppliers on the web/mail or the parts department

But there's nothing special about the arms, and they'll take almost any off the shelf replacement blade.

If you want to keep the 'deflector' on the driver's side then you probably need OEM...or at least I haven't found another re-fill to fit easily.

I sprung for PIAA for a while but didn't get much longer out of them vs the ANCO's. I just changed out with a set of ANCO blades from AutoZone. $6.99 each for one 18" and one 19". They snap in place straight out of the box, didn't even need to futz with the various clips like I did with the PIAA....

Rear blade? I bought OEM from a MINI house, once; but I seldom use that wiper anyway. It too came as the entire blade assmbly.

oh yes...if still under pre-paid maintenance, wipers should be covered.....

Bosch Refills

I bought Bosch refills at my local Foreign Car Parts (www.fcpgroton.com). Had to buy two sets though since someone at BMW/Rover decided it would be a good idea to use two different length wipers... Now I have a spare set.

These fit the the OEM arms, just refills, not the entire arm. I'll be darned if I'm gonna put Anco (or any other aftermarket arms) on my cars. Besides, its less waste.
