Driver-Side Lock/Unlock

So as some of you know, I've been having a LOT of electrical problems with the driver-side. First the headlight, then the window, and now the door lock. The headlight and window work perfectly fine. All I did with the headlight was take out the fuse and put it back. Did nothing for the window.

Now as far as the door lock goes... it sometimes does not work. Be it from the key fob or from inside.

Haunted door

My 05 MCS driver's side door just started acting up today, too.

I can lock or unlock it with either the remote or the toggle switch on the console.... but while the button comes up to show the door unlocked, the interior handle will not open the door. I have to roll the window down and open the door from the outside.

Tomorrow I'll call the dealer to get an appointment.

Your inner door handle cable has popped out...takes about a half hour to fix at max....

If you mean that it will unlock fine with the mechanical key in the door, but does not unlock or lock electrically with the key remote or the lock/unlock toggle then you need an actuator in that door.
