Fuel injector Harness ples

Fuel Injector harness plug
Purchases a 2002 S and went to change the fuel injectors. Found that all of the wire harness connection to the fuel injectors did not have the retaining clip to hold the plug to the fuel injector. Local dealership suggested checking salvage yard or hardware store. Did that and still cannot find anything. Can anyone suggest a good place to find this clip?

That is a standard connector for Bosch injectors. Any dealer that works on BMW, Volvo etc... that has a harness laying around or the techs themselves would probably have some extra clips.

Good luck

Chad

Thanks for the help

From the Bosch number on the connection itself, the dealership found that connection is used for something on a E36. Although I had to order the entire repair plug for about $10.50 each, I now have all the clips.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

RMW- Thanks for the offer, but part of my mission became to prove to the dealership that this item could be found. I was a little frustrated to have the dealership tell me it could not be found and to go to a salvage yard. I was a little annoyed with the arrogance the parts guy displayed.

I feel much better now, however a little poorer.

No problemo

I went through something similar getting connectors to extend O2 wiring sensors. Glad you have it sorted out!

Fuel injector clips

RMW,

I should have taken you up on your offer, the dealership sent the wrong ones. They cannot even identify their own parts. Any chance you might have 4 of these lying around? If so, let me know what you want for them.

PM me your address

Do you just want the wire clip or the entire plug?
