Strange (but very fun) problem...

Hi motorers,

For a few days now, whenever I take a curly a bit "faster", the rear-end loses grip very quickly and sends me into a little drift.

The first time it happened, it was surprising, but now it's fun. But, I would like to know what to check under the car to solve this problem... It is very fun, but my car does not handle as well as it used to be...

I have a 19mm rear swaybar (a fully adjustable one with the links) & H&R springs.

What do you guys think I should look first?

thanks!

A stiffer than stock rear swaybar will give some oversteer if you let off the throttle in mid-corner. Is the bar new? Did you put it in a stiffer setting? Are you driving harder and/or with a different technique? What has changed recently?

If you've not made any changes and the cornering limits are lower and oversteer prone, check the front swaybar endlinks and make sure one isn't broken.

Agreed. It sounds like oversteer if the rear end wants to come around. Have you changed the tires? If so, they may be less sticky.

That's what is strange... I didn't change any setting or parts regarding the suspension in the last 9-10 months... I've had that swaybar for a year now. And my tires are not that bad either (Falken FK452) and only a few months old.

I sure will have a look at those front swaybar endlinks!

maybe check if your front links are still ok... less front bar will do this too.
