A Blue Canary Party!

Host: Adam (thebluecanary)
When: Saturday, October 1, 4:00pm Come join the celebration!

I am hosting a BBQ to celebrate the birth of my new MINI Cooper! Lets be honest, it’s all about the car. So with that in mind, I’ve arranged a some MINI-Themed events.

There will be the Italian Job (1969), Italian Job (2003), Get Carter (1971), and Death Race 2000 (1975) for your viewing enjoyment. I will have linked two Xboxes both running MINI Cooper driving games, (Project Gotham Racing 2 and Forza Motor sport). If you have an Xbox and a TV you can bring them along too! Along with this there are drinks, friends, and of course, food.

What’s a BBQ without food right? There will be chicken, hotdogs, and chicken-wings for your enjoyment, along with several other side items. I’ll have the grill open for anyone who wishes to bring there own food along. I will also breakout the slushy maker, and a variety of flavors!

Along with all this fun and excitement I will be giving away MINI driving activity kits! They are a limited number, so first come first served! There might even be a special door prize for one lucky person, you will have to come and see!

All St Louis MINI Club members will be getting an evite from Adam better know as The Blue Canary

Make sure to RSVP me, so I know how much food to get. I know I've set message to like 80 people, so best to have enough food, then not enough.

OK You should have gotten it now! I used the full list now, Thanks Louie. The first list was just the public one.

140 people... And to think I was just planing on 30 so people.

OK Only one chicken wing per person!

Can't make it as I already RSVP to our club member Greg Bridwell's OKTOBERFEST which is also on Oct. 1 at 4:00pm. I had received his invite early in September. Either way have fun, I know we will

I asked my wife if she wanted to host a STLMINI party. She asked how many people might come. And I said (mumbling) 'possibly around a hundred.' "Are you nuts?"

By the way, nothing yet. (Is Yahoo perhaps blocking the e-mail because of the large number of receipients?)

Looks like only a handful have RSVPed, so that will give those that do come a better chance to get the door prize. Lucky you! =)

Well, no MINIs made it to my house. Just a handful of the people who RSVPed showed. Over all it was fun, but now I have a ton of left overs.
