Hi to all,

It's with great sadness to tell my STL MINI friends that Louie will be gone as of Monday. Gary found it necessary to trade him due to needing a more practical car for his job. He discovered that MINIs retain their value & traded him for a BMW X3 3.0l SAV. So my little 03 MC is gone But I am happy for Gary:smile: But never fear, I will still be seen buzzing around topless in Sunnie

Can't Gary just switch careers? I suppose Ms. Brit will be the only one in town now that can still say she's got a "2 Cooper family". I hope whomever adopts Louie loves him as much as you did.:smile: We'll miss him.

Louie will be sold from West County BMW. My only fear is that at some point I'll see him again The dealer was thrilled to be able to put a MINI on their lot because they are so "hot". I do have lots of goodies that we removed from Louie. Maybe STL MINI could have a Swap Meet

I had two MINIs for about 5 minutes at Roadshow, before I traded my 2002 for my 2005 S. I was sad to see FLASH go but am really enjoying FLASH2. I will post a review and photos of my 2005 here soon...

Sorry to hear that Louie is going to a new home - I remember the first time I saw him (at Gateway International) - he looked like he knew his way around so MsBrit just followed him. I know how you feel about possibly seeing him around town, I get attached to my cars too. Although I still haven't seen my 03 MCS since I sold her - maybe she's too much to handle for her new owner !!!

Gary picked up his new car tonight & we left Louie parked on the lot But I have to admit, the X3 is a nice ride

WE were at Suntrup yesterday and saw your "Louie" there but had no idea it was yours until now. The MINI was parked up on their elevated display rack. I was checking out a used 5 series. NO, I'm not trading in my MINI. Motor On, Dan
