I will be at Blackhawk on Monday afternoon, Tuesday, and then at the MINI Challenge on Wednesday. My Dad and I should have his 64 Mini Racer ready by then.

I saw Karl last week(he's one of the event planners). He's a little disappointed that more new MINIs have not signed up. He's says about fifty. And MINIUSA is one of the sponsors. There is also a strong possibility that they are bringing a Cabrio to the event. I know some people hesitate attending a joint MINI/Mini event because of reports of bad blood between the 2 groups but I honestly don't believe there is anything to be concerned about. I know a great time will be had by all. Plus we're too friendly here in the middle of America

Personally I'll have a tough time taking off a day in the middle of that week - it'll be very busy at work for me. If the meet was during the weekend I'd be there everyday but as it stands it'll be tough to make it

Hi Matt -

I'll be there with my wife - but we'll be in the old Mini (provided I can get a couple idle issues worked out before next week - otherwise we'll be in the 02 S). I'll look for you. Our car's light blue under a white with white wheels arches and big white number circles on the doors.

 

I'll be looking for you in Rockford next week.

BTW, I'll be in E. Peoria tomorrow and Friday, doing some consulting at one of the hospitals up there. If you see me buzzing around out by Lowes and the Texas Roadhouse, make sure and flag me down.
