I spotted a mellow yellow standard MINI while traveling through St. Louis. I was in my Ford Excursion (gas guzzler) with my family. I held a sign up in the window that said Nice Mini! I saw a lot of MINI's traveling west on I-70

 

I saw a silver one with eyes in the Maguey parking lot in the valley the day before the 4th.

 

Saw a red and white "just a cooper" with bonnet stripes going over the PSB on 64 this morning around 6:20. It was a brand new one and had temporary plates. I waved as I passed it.

Nice looking car!!!

 

A friend just called and told me that she just saw a BRG cabrio with black stripes at a park in Alton, IL.

She was so thrilled to see a MINI (and she's from SE Missouri) that she couldn't give me better location info. She said she also saw a blue and a PW in/around the Alton areas today.

And I'm sitting in Memphis and haven't seen any.

 

Freaked out this morning when we saw the exact Clubman my Wife is ordering. Now we know what it will look like. Good thing my Wife liked it a lot. The SS/BLK Clubman still had temp tag in back window parked in the save a lot parking lot off of Rider Trail in Earth City. Pretty soon there will be 2 parked there.

 

I roll down Rider trail Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons around 5ish on my way to ITT.. Nice to see more Mini's in the area!

 

Keep seeing a Black over yellow 08 on my way home on HWY15 in Illinois about 430 pm........ I've been waving but no response YET

Sil3ncer7, that may have been our PS, Coop, you saw by Mid Rivers Mall, although we've spotted a couple others like him in St. Charles County (one on I-70 near Mid Rivers one weekend night just a couple of weeks back). (I was out at a horse show near Defiance a couple of summers ago and almost got into the wrong car!) Rest assured, if I see you I'll wave! Mr. Sunnyhorse won't wave unless someone honks/waves at him first. Hmph.

 

i have noticed over here in the edwardsvill area quite aa few and none of them every way and they make me looks stupid for waving

 

I saw a BRG MC pass me on 44 west today.

I could have sworn the driver was Jim Croce!

He seemed to be enjoying a brand new sporty exhaust.

 

Maybe it's me but I notice a direct connection to hardtop and convertible wavers

I'll usually flash a peace sign to any MC.

Just in the last week saw a couple guys in MCS's (pepper white with black and a red with white stripes) on 40 in the chesterfield valley area in the 5:30P - 6:00P range. Nice!

What strikes me as odd is that more often than not convertibles do not wave. Especially non S cabrio's. What's up with that!

So if your driving one of these and a guy in a red/black MCS or any other MC waves. It's OK to wave back and acknowledge were driving the coolest car.

I saw two PW MCSs on the way home yesterday, between 4:00 and 4:15. The first one was on Forestpark, near Grand, the second was at the intersection of 161 and 157 in Fairview Heights, IL. Neither waved though I flashed my lights and waved at both of them.

Come on folks!!

 

I always wave As does the driver of that BRG MC with the sporty new exhaust I see him all the time

So keep your eyes peeled for my LB/S S Clubman. Can't say I've seen another one in St Louis

I forgot to mention that Cindy saw you guys at the Schnuck's parking lot the other day (she was walking; you guys were in the Clubman). She waved at Mark who, according to Cindy, looked a bit confused as who she was.

For the past few weeks I've seen a red convertible every morning around 6:35 at the intersection of Forest Park and Taylor. I try to get your attention but you must be in morning mode.

Hate to generalize but gals around St. Louis in 'just a cooper' convertibles seem to not quite get the 'esprit de corps' of driving the coolest car in the universe.

Either that or my rep precedes me!

I saw a yellow MCS prolly an 03 who joined me for some "spirited driving" on 70 east yesterday. My buddy was in his Yz600 and he kinda took off but the guy in the yellow mini tailed me pretty well through the medium traffic of 70 at 5 pm.

Yes, it was (is) a gal. I've also noticed that most "MINI gals" around town don't wave when waved at. It's not a come-on gals, it's just a wave, you can wave back.
