Window Coatings to block sun

Hi fellow MINI owners, Does anyone know of a good business in the St Louis County/St Charles County area that installs the window darkening "screens"? One that will not only do a good job but has a good selection of screens & one that will install a partial screen not a full window. Also, has anyone had any trouble with them because of the way the window drops down 1/4 inch when the door is opened & then goes back up that 1/4 inch when the door is closed.

I've taken my car to Wicked Stickers in St Charles. Not the MINI, yet, but my WRX and G35 both went there...

They do a good job, and I've recommended them to friends also. Everyone's been happy.

I had mine done by Quality.... they used to be on Manchester but are now in Valley Park.

I know that's who String had do his windows also.... (miss ya, mate!)

My husband had his done by DALO and I was not at all happy with it. As the kids rolled the back windows up and down, it scraped the film and left marks...... but that car has since been traded, I'm going to make him go to Quality this time

Yup, one other vote for Quality Glass Tinting. BradB recommended them and that was good enough for me. Fabulous job.

(We miss you guys too! )

When Lucy had her tint done in Hawaii, they applied it about 1/4 inch shy of the edge of the windows, so the movement of the windows when the door closes is not a problem.

My tint runs right up to the top of the window right before it rounds at the top

Looking at it, mine stops probably 1/16th of an inch before the edge of the glass.
