IE Carpool to IJ Premier
As far as I last read (and was told) we are leaving the KK in Ontario at 5:00pm. I'm almost wondering if it might be best to leave around 4 or 4:30pm?
While there is a carpool lane on the 10 at some spots, at rush hour, if I recall correctly, it becomes a 3+ lane (not the normal 2+).
On a good day at 10:00am it takes me an hour and fifteen minutes to get from Ontario to Downtown LA. I'm not exactly sure how much further/shorter it is to Paramount, so maybe someone with more knowledge can help?
Thanks,
Keith

From years of commuting from Downtown to West Hollywood, via Melrose (going right past Paramount), it varied from 20 to 40 minute--Downtown to the Paramount gate. Alternate routes are really complicated through there, but you can get off on Vermont and get on Beverly to Van Ness, but that only saves you one offramp. The real bottleneck is the whole Hollywood freeway to Melrose. I don't think going via the valley will help.
In any event the studio's between Van Ness and Larchmont on Melrose if you're south of Melrose; between Van Ness and Gower if coming from the valley.
I just went by the studio and they are setting up massive tents, probably for the refreshments. There were a swarm of workers, and all for us.
