South Bay and Long Beach have never charged dealer markup. Crevier you can get to charge you MSRP. I am sure most of the SoCal dealerships will give you a price break in order to make room for the 2007 Turbos.

I bought my first two MINIs at Irvine MINI. I bought my last one at Crevier. These are the two closest MINI dealerships to me. I decided not to go back to Irvine MINI because ... their service is below par. The Sales people are cool but that doesn't help when it comes time to servicing your MINI. The Service advisors believe in the "out of sight, out of mind" mentality and do not provide grade A customer service unless you're in their face (and even then YMMV).

Depending on where you live, if you're looking at Irvine MINI you should check out Crevier too. One thing Crevier has that Irvine doesn't - they give you a loaner when your MINI is in for servicing, Irvine provides no loaner. If traffic on the 405 doesn't deter you, you should also look at Long Beach and South Bay (Hawthorne).

Best of luck and have fun test driving!

Bought my 2006 S from Neillo in Sacramento in early Spring 2006. They gave me the best price. I competed 8 to 10 California dealers against one another. I remember Irvine was very close. I did not pay MSRP or above it. Was supported well during the sale and when I went to pick it up.

The new models will be hitting the dealership showrooms any minute. You should be able to negotiate with the dealerships. What I would do is go and visit a few dealerships, see how many 06s each dealership has and negotiate with the one with the most cars on the lot. Tell them that the car has depreciated considering its a 06 and that it doesn't have all the features you like. You might not get that much off on the sticker price but you can get some accessories and/or an extended warranty. It doesn't hurt to ask. Good Luck!

We were at Brecht over the weekend - they have quite a few on their lot and have dropped all of their "over MSRP" prices. For once, you might be able to negotiate a pretty good deal from them....worth a phone call maybe.

You can get your car serviced at any authorized dealer, however, each dealership has its own policy regarding things like free loaner cars for service. For example, it's my understanding that Long Beach Mini will give you a free loaner for service if you purchased the car there.

Does anyone know what Crevier's policy is about providing a loaner car when you are in service if you did not buy from them?

Thread Hijacker!!!

Homer...yeah I have experience in that area...I finally get a loaner because I finally bought a MINI from them. They do not provide free car washes or loaners to non-Crevier MINI owners. Sucks..but they are a whole lot better in the customer service department. Some other dealerships who do give out loaners require you set up appointment well in advance since they only have a limited amount of loaners available. However, if Crevier runs out of MINI loaners..you get upgraded to a BMW!!

Hope you're doing well. Oh ...come on over to Crevier from Irvine MINI..you will be treated better and quicker.
