I just spent four days in San Diego. I must have seen at least twenty-five different MINIs on the road! :smile:

i see on average at least 4 or 5 per day in chicago.
i rarely see the same one twice too.
there are a bunch downtown on a regular basis!
you're getting your car soon right? hooray!
i gotta take a spin with you when you get it, i still
haven't taken a proper ride in a S!

 

I live in San Diego and see one or two a week lately, but I probably haven't seen 25 total in the past year! I guess it depends on what part of town you're driving in.

Last week of May or first week of June is the estimate from my MA at Patrick MINI. He still hasn't sent me a production number yet though. I'll have to harrass him about it.

If I'm still here, we'll hook up and you can check out the S. I say "still here" because we were in SD interviewing and looking at real estate. We'll see what happens.

We stayed at the Hyatt on La Jolla Village Drive. Over the four days saw at least six just looking out our ninth floor window onto I-5 and L J V Dr. (that contrasting white roof is so easy to spot); two in the hotel parking garage, both DS MCSs (one with bonnet stripes); one in La Jolla Cove; a couple up in Del Mar, numerous motoring along on the highways when we were out and about, including a nice SG/W MC on Northbound I-5 at about noon on Thursday; and a CR/W MC parked at the curb in Little Italy around noon today. Every where we turned there were MINIs!

If any of you read this, we were the couple grinning and gawking at you from the hideous white Chevy Malibu rental turd!
