Does this line seem contradictory to anyone else? I know what they mean but it just struck me as odd.

Checked out the two cars yesterday.
They're awesome! But dang this heat-n-humidity 'cause I sure wasn't up to even getting snapshots!

We (Tim, Chris, and I) did drive over to El Segundo to talk to some guy named Eddie, where, I saw some other cool rides.

Yes indeed, those who didn't go totally missed out! I will post photos soon. I'm not sure if a thread has been started yet for them as I just walked in the door from the festivities over the weekend. It was definately good times and thanks to those who showed up, it's not often this kind of thing happens, it was truly an experience and the cars looked amazing!

First Look: Signature "Fireballed!™ Limited Edition" Mini Cooper
We were on hand to see the first two Limited-Edition movie Minis make their debut!

Remember when you were a kid and you pretented your Big Wheel was the Batmobile as you tore down the sidewalks humming the theme .... Da-da-da-da--BATMAN! Or when you flew down a hillside on your little red wagon pretending you were Starsky and your best friend sitting right behind you was Hutch? When we were kids it was easy to pretend our toys were famous movie cars. Now you can relive some of your favorite movies through the creative and talented minds of the Fireball Tim team in a Mini way! ....

Wow...pretty awesome. I really like those Axis wheels too - I think I want them . I wonder if they have the 18" or 19" in the picture above.

The cars are loaded with go fast and stop fast goodies as well as many custom touches you won't find anywhere else. And you can buy them thru South Coast MINI! And one very, very cool item. The complete amount the buyer pays above MSRP gets donated to local charities!

And the graphics are all paint by renowned customizer Larry Paul.

Shockwave under wraps

Nice family!

Voila! Pics do not do the finish justice, the sun did not cooperate either.

The Real Deal

erm....no !!!
lots of work and attention to detail,i'm sure, but it looks like a mini getting ready to enter a harley show .way too over the top and easily dated.

just not my taste i guess but i'm sure some will love them.

You could've invited the familia, let them watch a White Roof Radio podcast interview being recorded.

But since you couldn't make it, here's a clickable pic of db talkin' to Fireball Tim.
