South Bay MINI Service Relocated

I was down at South Bay MINI the other day and they have relocated the MINI Service drop-off and pick-up. Instead of using the BMW service park area MINI customers should now go to the South side of the building. Jay (the MINI SA) will now be working out of what use to be the "delivery" area in the MINI showroom.

After your MINI is serviced it will be waiting on the South side of the building. Basically they are trying to unify the MINI experience and cut down on wait times for people to get their MINIs back (i.e. we shouldn't have to wait for BMW customers or for the "runners" to go fetch the cars from the back any longer).

.

Since I'm buying my car here, is this a good place to get it serviced? Ie whos the service manager or person I should introduce myself to when I get Synthia.

David Church has been my contact guy so far for sales and has done a great job so far

I've seen other people post very good things about the service there if that helps.

Wish they were closer to me and I'd go there for sure.

South Bay service has been fine. I gave them all 5 Stars for their review. They've always fixed my warranty issues without question even though I didn't buy my MINI from them. When you make your appointment, make sure to tell them you need a loaner ahead of time so they can reserve one for you. I've gotten a MINI loaner for the past two times I've been in, and it's been great!

Sweet, thats all I needed to know.

However, I just got a quote on the alarm for the mini and almost died 699?
300 bucks for the alarm for the parts. To tell me its going to take 4.7 hours to install is really amazing . Guess warrenty work will be the only time I come here

Sad, cause my X3 cost 400 for the install and alarm at the deal. I was like WTF.

Well I am correcting my previous statement since South Bay called me up and told me the price was inaccurate that I was origionally quoted.

Time = 2.3 hours at $115 an hour
Total was 580 something. plus or minus a bit
