Would anyone be interested in a "suspension party" in the Los Angeles area? If there is enough interest Randy Webb said he would like to do one and possibly invite someone from H-sport to attend. It would be best to have it at a shop that can do wheel alignment. Maybe it could be combined with some educational information regarding suspension tuning. Just a thought???

I'm still in the works arranging the one I told you about Larry. How soon would Randy want to come down here again? It's only been two weeks since he's been in LA.

 

I would consider moving that expense up on my schedule.

I have been working with H-Sport in Santa Fe Springs, CA to have a Technical Clinic later this year for SCMM (Southern California Mini Maniacs). This will be an educational program with extensive discussion and demonstration of all the in's-and-out's of suspension, brake and tire set up for the MINI. In addition to H-Sport, a major brake and a major tire manufacturer will be at the event. We'll be getting first-hand presentations from the experts who design and manufacture these critical performance/handling components for our MINI's --- :smile:.

This Technical Clinic will not be an installation event, but a significant opportunity for our SCMM members to get the real "skinny" about suspension, brakes and tires. As soon as I have worked out the details, they will be posted on the SCMM Forum, with a copy on NAM.

I was not arranging party. It was something that I spoke to Randy Webb about.

 

It looks like we are arranging an install party, including pulleys if need be, for LA area again in November.

If we do suspension, I will talk with H-Sport and see if we can get those same experts Bob spoke of out to do tech talks while we do the installations. I've spoken with Mark Hotchkis numerous times on product development fronts as well as test data results, and I know he would be interested in an event like this.

I would love for this to happen. I want h-sport springs and a rear sway bar so bad. Would we be able to purchace these products there or do we have to order them ourselves before. Also an educational speaker would be great, I need all the info I can get.

 

I have H-Sport already in springs and rear sway. I have an H-sport front sway that I need to install and would stop by to have that done.
