Take 405 north, exit Nordhoff west to corner of Woodley.
You'll see a Winchell's right before.

Well if the IRS refund comes or I'm feeling wealthy for one reason or another I'll be there.

Any RSVP needed?

No RSVP needed for the eats just if you are going to have work done. Its always a nice get together even if you are just coming to see other Mini's and shoot the breeze.

Okay, I admit, I'm a newbie here so how do MINI install parties work? Is an installation cheaper (even - gulp - free on these days)? Are we working on our own cars with his equipment? Or are the prices the same and the point is for everyone to meet? I didn't wan't to assume anything because you know what they say...

TIA,
Matt

I'll be there. As Kevin Costner said in a movie recently, “you know my position of free food.”

heh, no not free. (Well actually that depends). I say depends because sometimes if you're doing a pulley install, they might install the CAI for free.

Basically a pulley party is just a get together of MINI owners. Some will get work done on their car, some won't. The ones that do get the work done by the host, in this case M7, or Steve, and can either buy or bring parts, and the host installs them at the going rate.

Sometimes there is food and drink and a fun time.

I'm not getting any work done, I'm just going for fun.

I'll be there but the tax man and my recent marriage just cleaned me out. So no major mods, if by chance anyone has the experience and the willingness to help me download the MTH program I'd really appreciate it

If anyone is interested I can have a few sets of R0-Ja Lt-5 wheels available for pick up at a closeout price of $600 per set. There are a few white and silver left. They can also be easily powdercoated to match your paint scheme as well. They were originally retailing at $340 per wheel and $600 for the set of 14.5 17inch wheels is not a bad deal. They make a nice set of track wheels to keep those stickies mounted on I would have to know by monday at the latest so PM me if interested.

As an added bonus Steve has decided to have a spring special on the 180 degree thermostats. The normal price is $ 95 installed but he will be doing them for $80 complete during the party. He would like you to call and make a appointment if you are interested. 818 891 6109

My first MINI meet ! I will be having one of those new M7 pully's installed. I have one question I will be coming from Oceanside (North San Deigo county) and need to Know how bad traffic gets on Sundays on the 405.I will bring my brother(a E46 owner ) so we can carpool. Any input will be helpful so to help plan the 2+hr trip. Hope to place faces on some of the users names here at NAM. I cant wait.

there will be a couple spots that slow down but for the most part it shouldnt be too bad. The morning drive should be easy depending on what time you leave.
