Hi, I was just wondering if any of you guys knew of a good place to get Windows Tinted. I know of only one place in Carson, A-1 Doctor Tint, but they are always so busy... Anyways, I am also looking to get a Limo Tint in the back, and a lighter tint for the driver's & passenger's sides. Also..I want some stripes or music notes or something... any recommendations for good places that won't cost an arm and a leg? Thanks...
Aziandoll I think you are already on to "the" best tinter round these parts. I've had 5 cars done by them over the years and have referred many, many friends. Not a single complaint yet. Plus their insurance package if you get a fix it ticket is a no-brainer.
Can't help with the stripes, but does A-1 do those?

aziandoll, I had mine done in Anaheim but that might be too far for you.
The place is on Beach Blvd, just south of Knott's Berry Farm. It's next to Tower Records.
You might also try Universal Graphix in Santa Fe Springs.
If you go to the Long Beach Poker Rally this weekend, I'm sure you'll see plenty of MINIs with cool design ideas for your stripes. I'll be there. (Indi Blue/B black bonnet stripes, Raider Nation decal on rear window)

Aziandoll:
I have had tinting done at a shop on the southwest corner of Hawthorne Boulevard and Pacific Coast Hwy in Torrance. (I cannot think of the name!) They did my BMW and it was great. I have yet to have the Mini done, but thanks for the post - it got me thinking, and now I will look into it!

not yet. the Five star window tinting place on PHC & Hawthorne costs the same as A-1 Doctor Tint in Carson. The advantage to the 5 Star place is that there's hardly any wait. A-1, I'd have to bring it in early and stuff.. which I can't on a Saturday. So.. I am going with the 5-star place that virafp suggested, plus it's closer to me. By the way.. do you guys think I should stripe my car? I am so undecided about it. The color is Silk Green, and I don't know what it would look like with Black stripes. I already have nice rims on it, plan to get the window tint.. anyone seen a Silk Green one with Stripes?

Now that you mention it, I've yet to see a Silk Green with stripes.
A buddy of mine has a SG MC with CVT. He's not mentioned putting stripes on his.
