RPI MINI Cooper S exhaust Interest Gauge... R53 & R56

Hi, I used to work for RPI but do not anymore and was wondering if anyone from socal would be willing to become the guinea pig for a new exhaust by them... RPI is a very well respected tuner among the NOBLE, Saturn sky, BMW M3 and M5/M6 crowd... Their latest exhaust for the e92 has squeezed 20whp out of a already high output 4.0L V8 N/A engine! every single product by them is the best in the market, just ask around the M5board, Mfestforum and Noble forums and saturn sky forums... Out of the E60 M5 they managed to squeeze 80 more WHP over stock from their products alone! Its a 5L V10 motor which puts out 500hp... With the noble, their exhaust alone gained 30whp! similar gains have been seen with the saturn sky redline and 335 bmw... Trust me when I say this, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED SUPERIOR TO OTHER SYSTEMS... Mind you I get nothing for doing this but just to help out a tuning company who i believe is highly under rated... PM me if interested...

i'd be interested. i'm in the market for a new exhaust too actually. what is the price point that they're aiming for? dual mufflers or single? Just a little FYI.. ji'm currently liking the Alta the best because of the v-band clamps and the fact it's a single sided system and 2.5" piping.

well, being a guinea pig is one thing (I let a well known CAI mfg use my car for two weeks, only to have them drop the "S" program ), but I think my car would be too old for them (besides, I like my Skunk2 system ). It's a good deal for someone who's looking for an exhaust and whats to be different than the crowd.

I have a skunk 2 exhaust also, but can guarantee the RPI exhaust will be better by far... Thats why i was pressing RPI because I feel only RMW is really doing well in the mini game and we need more options...

Anyone interested should look up www.raceprecision.com (my mini is on the page...lol, next to the m5's and m6 and saturn sky) Call the shop mon-fri 10am-4:30 and ask for Eloy (562).630-5966... He will give all the details and such... Id say its a %90+ done deal that its going to happen!

Mike why don't you have them use your car? I understand that you already have the Skunk2, but at least they could use your car to develop an exhaust system. You're not here right now anyway, right?

I'd be down to do this myself, but I'm really happy with my RMW exhaust at this time. When are you going to be stateside again? We're gonna have to set up an SGV meet.

LOL, I probably will be one of the test mules, He is more of gauging interest and having multiple cars with different settings and exhausts are good to really understand the cars characteristics and what works... I know the RMW exhaust is good, I just think more options would be nice as RMW is really the only ones running the game right now... I may be home on the 19th or I may stay here for longer because of a job and college basketball... I have the stock system too which i will probably donate for the sake of a good baseline... I will be one of the test mules most likely, but RPI likes to get several cars and different conditions in order to be positive on results... If you ever want to end up coming out and maybe checking the shop out, let me know! Ill tell eloy and he will schedule an appointment with you! I am sure eloy would appreciate the RMW modded out car... I respect RMW so much, I just love RPI and loved working for them and with eloy, always aggressive/exotic sound coupled with great fit and finish and HP gains... They are like RMW as everything is thrown on the dyno to test out what works and what doesnt...
