I believe there were a total of 22 MINI's at this meet. Not bad for a first go 'round!

It was fantastic to see colors/options/add-ons. Many truly individual MINIs.

MANY THANKS TO JEANNA who organized the event. I had a blast.

Hey...Great pics of the Bolsa Chica meet! Thanks for being so quick to link them up for us all.
Looking forward to the next meet, and then you'll see my Electric Blue S that will steal the show!!!

The day was perfectly British -- overcast and almost drizzly. Rick & I followed the MINI parade to BJ's, but didn't stay to eat (I've been ailing and needed to go home).

I'll try to figure out 1) How to download my pics from the digicam to the PC (can't find the instruction booklet for camera), then 2) Try to figure out how to upload my pics into the MCO gallery! Look for my pics in the next few days! BTW, kudos to Jeanna for planning the event and to Tracy for making the great MINI t-shirts!

I counted 26 MINIs right before we left the beach for lunch at BJ's! What a turn out! 26 MINIs in all you guys! Is that the record in the US or what?!

What a great time! It was good to meet the people behind the user names. Thanks to everyone for making it out there today. And thanks to Jeanna for arranging it all- great job! It won't be the last time we do this! Let's make a habit of it. I also put up some more photos in the SoCal gallery. I'm sure many more will be added soon.

Here's a general tally from the sheets you guys filled out:
(not all filled out a form and not everyone has their MINI yet)
15 Coopers
11 Cooper S's
7 Red
6 Silver
5 Yellow
3 BRG
3 Blue
1 Dark Silver
1 Pepper White
2 to 1 in favor of meeting monthly
Most popular club name suggestion: SoCal MINIs
Got a lot of great suggestions for future meet locations!

I'm sure we surprised a lot of people! I saw a lot of people laughing and smiling so hard- they couldn't believe their eyes! A neverending line of MINIs- the raindbow come to life! Some people had trouble driving and had to stop and look. It was indescribable! Unreal!

We had a blast at the Bolsa Chica meet yesterday. A huge thank you to Jeanna, you really did a great job! It was so fun to see all twenty-six Mini's driving south on Pacific Coast Highway, then east on Beach Boulevard, what a sight! Can't wait to do it again!

Hey Clover!

Tomorrow is the big day for you, yes?! I saw Matt today, he delivered my car after it spent the weekend in the shop for the Service Engine light going on. The final diagnosis was, "we think it's the gas cap, 'cuz we can't find anything wrong"! They also fixed that annoying rattle in the rear hatch, and all is well with the world again! Matt had a silk green Cooper on the lot, with automatic transmission, it's For Sale, if you know anyone who wants to get in on this color that is about to be a thing of the past!
Looking forward to seeing you at the next meet, we'll both have our cars!!!
You will love it!!!!!!!!!!!
As they say....Happy Motoring!
