If you're 'So Cal' and looking for some MINI fun, check out the So Cal MINI Maniacs. We're a really big club, with meetings every month in five regions of Southern California. San Diego region is holding a Casino Run on April 20th... and after a terrific twisty route, we end up having a big buffet at Barona Casino! (you pay for your own buffet, but it's an amazing spread of food!)

There is also a run being held by the Inland Empire group, and a track day too!

The casino run was in April, but we have events all year long. Check out www.clubscmm.com for information. Click on Events, to see the calender (however, you may not be able to access some information unless you are a member). Depending on where in So Cal you are, there are meetings on the first Saturday of the Month (Malibu and San Diego), the second Saturday of the Month (Long Beach) and the third Saturday of the Month (Inland Empire) We do have a really neat event at the end of this month, it's the "Italian Job Rally for Charity" See here for info:

In August, we have a 'spirited' run up Palomar Mountain. One of our favorite routes!

I've been trying to find a MINI club to join for a while now, pretty sure i'd be the youngest member in SCMM if I joined. Looks really cool though, im very tempted to join!

 

We have members in their early 20's, Panther. Most of us are older than that, but MINI people stay 'young at heart'.
There's a Breakfast in Malibu on Sept 7th and one in Seal Beach on Sept 14th. :-)

 

You don't need to join, just come to the breakfast and hang out. No one cares. See what you think. Join later, if you decide that you want to do events with us. :-) If you need times and places, pm me.

 

There is also a lunch on the 24th at Hooters in Ontario for the inland empire minis

Hahaha I've been reading some of the newsletters and such on the events. Very nice events! However, the only thing that's a little disheartening is that (since im an incoming freshman in college) i have a class on Saturdays which really makes it hard to spend the full time on hangouts and your fun filled "twisties", so just wondering if you guys have events on like Fridays and Wednesdays for example?

 

I just signed up! Can't quite figure out how to get signed up on the forum though. :/

Tuesday's would work for me as well right now. Might change in a few weeks though.
