Anyone here planning to head over to the Scottsdale Pavillions this New Year's eve?

Kind of far from Preskit, and it would be with the family in wife's new PT Cruiser (she just couldn't stand me having the COOL car). Would I still be welcome?

I would be tempted to race wifey if we convoyed! Wait...I was the one telling her to slow down on 89A over Mingus Mtn. while I tried taking curve pictures from slingshot, er shotgun!

I'll probably be headed down there around 4 or 5PM. I'm craving some chinese food so the Mongolian Grill (all you can eat--make your own) is mighty tempting.

 

Tonight's cruise included just me cruising down from Preskit and back from Phoenix for what is usually a happenin' time at the Pavilions. I met the nicest people around. We chowed dinner together. Backed into parking... you get the idea. I didn't need a coat. Very dusty from a storm (I pray) blowing in.
Hope I didn't get a ticket from the #$%^& photo radar in FLW. There was a Santa standing on the sidewalk waving at traffic, then I saw a flash from the camera on a pole in the median. I think maybe 5mph over, if it was me. No wonder Tuls has that cover over his plate!

I was hoping I could come too! Dammit. I'd like to compare with your car in a coast down...although I don't know how 91 would help .

Late last night, Kalbone and I did a coast down test up here on the north side. What's nice is we both have identical tires on the car with virtually the same miles on the tires. We were pretty even...almost dead even although at first he was slightly quicker, then I gained on him and I went quicker, but nothing to write home about.

Actually I still want to compare my car to your car.

 

uhhh casue 91 make my car slow...and you run 91 all the time right?

the coast down thing is skippy and all...but last time I raced someone I was on the throttle...not asking them to coast down...
