I'm worried about those 115 degree days here in Mesa. Is it a problem with leatherette?

i never had a problem but it doesnt get that hot here in NJ. Leather would be worse of course. Cloth is harder to keep clean.

I have heard some complaints about the leatherette here in Texas. I changed my order from leatherette to cloth for those hot summers. If you get the sport seats the cloth looks sharp!

I have them here in Chandler. No real problems with heat. My windows are tinted and I have one of those custom-fit windshield shades.

Im in the COLD and HOT St louis weather. Never had a problem with them except some of my friends complain that they feel like hot griddles when my seat heaters are on.

I've had MINIs with leather and leatherette.
The biggest difference is the price and the
fact you'll need to replace the leather if you
keep the car for 15 or 20 years.

I put old cotton T-shirts over my seats - that helps out a lot with the leatherette - and it keeps them nice.
