What a great day Mauri and I had on the run. Great to meet everyone and drive with other MINI's. Sorry we had to bag out at Prescott. The fast twisties were a gas. We can't wait for the next "run".
Great job Dominic

Thanks for the feedback Mark!

I had an awesome time!! It was truly great to motor with you all. I told a few of you already...I just have to say this was the BEST fun-run event I've ever been on. The roads were perfect. The company was perfect. The weather a little warm, but not overly so. I loved having the 4 classic Minis along. Tom's red Mini screams! And Barney's green Mini is no slouch either. The sights were amazing! Too bad we hit Yarnell hill in the dark, the vista from up there are incredible, but motoring on twisty roads in the dark does have advantages...adrenaline bay-bee! Overall, I hope all of you had a great time like I did.

Happy Motoring!
Dominic

I was thinking.... what if we gave a "donation" to the Bagdad Elementary School to have the 12 mile stretch monoterd (traffic controlled) by cops. By the way your car is FAST!!!

I created an Imagestation Album:

<A HREF="http://www.imagestation.com/album/?i...ot;><IMG SRC="http://www.imagestation.com/images/i...tton.gif" BORDER="0"></A>

I have 30 something pictures in there. I had a lot of fun, sorry we couldn't stay - we left from Prescott. I was getting a little delusional - i was awake for 26+ hours and hadn't eaten. Then we hit both of those accidents on the I-17, took awhile to get home. Had fun!!

Although its a very creative mod. I'm not keen on drilling hole into my car just yet. I though you mentioned that someone actually had a similar mod that just dropped in.

Bill is too busy changing windshields to do those intake mods anyway. :???:

I sure wish it wasn't me driving when that rock came up on the fun run and cracked your latest windshield. But thanks again for trading cars for a while, it was fun!!

Not worry. It would have happened to anyone driving at the time. The four Mini's should take up a collection and pay for mine and Candance windshields
Considering the size of the projectile it's a good thing it hit so high or it might have gone through. Would hate to clean up blood from the seat.
Jay gave me a web site to check for a windshield treatment that strengthen the glass from impact.
