We are making this open to all the MINIS listening.
Ther is a group of us heading out the the Scottsdale Pavillions
Saturday night. We are going to show up aroun 5:00 or 6:00.

We are also planning on meeting for a late lunch that afternoon as well
somewhere in the Scottsdale area.

Anyway, my wife's nephew is in town from Brazil so we're taking him to Flagstaff this weekend so I couldn't come anyway.

Once the summer is over, I hope to finally meet all/y'all.

Actually after the summer we'll be rolling up the carpets, putting our cars in storage and you'll never get to meet us.

Winter in Arizona (lows in the 40s & Highs in the 70's) is perfect
motoring time!
We are suffering right now, but we will be having fun in January.

I am so sorry I didn't get to make it today.
I am sitting here pouting about it. I was all washed up,
waxed, and ready to go. I even did a little something extra as a surprise.
Unfortunately, my wife felt ill last night, but got a lot worse
today. It has been a little scary with the amount of times she has
thrown up (Sorry to be graphic). She is 6 months pregnant. This
flu is not good tiing at all.
She told me to meet up with you guys anyway....but what kind of husband
would I be? Sometimes, you need to put your priorities in order.

I'm sure you guys had fun...but not as much as if I were there.
Let me know how it went.

That's cool Brandon. I heard you had other priorities come up. NYPD pizza was great! Hafid had to leave early to go to work. But, Mike, Mike, Val, Becky and I went down to the dealership. Turns out Justin goes every Sat night with his Civic. Michael talked about wanting to go, but I don't think the timing worked out for him.

Yeah, let's not be so graphic. We did talk about my new kittens and their bowel problems they're having since they got their first round of kitten shots. hehe

It's all what the hype is about. Tons of cars new and mostly old. Had a bunch of bikes. Plenty of people milling around. I felt like a MMA standing beside my car hehe.

We did meet some new MINI people. There's Pat (pflashinaz) and Kalvin. Pat brought both a classic Mini and a MINI Cooper S. Kalvin has a year old MCS. Both of them just got back from an auto-X day up in Flagstaff. Also AZMin (chris)i came out with his 100 mile old LY/W MC. Only 100 miles on it the first day of ownership and already going to car shows! Seven coopers in all in attendance. Pretty good showing. My wife and I got real tire and had to dog out early. We just got home. Whewwww! What a long day. I never knew it could be so tiring talking to stangers for a few hours.

Yeah, this idea came out fast and furious! Sometimes you've got to be a internet hound to keep up with all the MINI activity.

Hope you and hubby are doing well! Did you convert him yet to a MINIac? hehe

Pat's going to be posting some more information about an event happening Aug 2nd in the evening. That way people who go on the fun run can cool down at the event, and those who can't make the long drive can always come out and hang with us afterwards.

You're one lucky dog! BTW, your MC looks great! I hope you enjoy the heck out of it! Probably not as fun as that RV6a you're building, but in the two dimentional world, the MINI is probably the most fun, right?

MiniMac. Sorry I didn't get to meet ya. I think I saw you last Saturday in traffic near the BOB. I walked in front of you (if it was you) near the Science Center parking garage and gave you a thumbs up. You looked frustrated by the wonderful parking situation.

Man, I think we have a great group here in phoenix! i love it! sorry I had to snag out from the pizza early for work....fri and sat nights i'm just booked up....no ways around that I'm afraid. but anyway, i'm certainly available on sundays if people want to meet up and motor :smile:
