That sounds like fun. My car is at the distribution center, so I'm not sure how long it will be til she comes to Tampa; when she does, I'm ready to motor!

I grew up in Miami, but have settled in Ohio after finishing training, so I won't be able to join you this time.... but glad to see this kind of email and others responding to it!! Maybe its #4 Social Circle Package-- that comes with the Mini.
Have a great time! I hope we have this starting in Ohio soon.

Saw the story in the Orlando Sentinel yesterday about your experience getting your car. I envy you! I went to see the cars two weeks ago and fell in love with them. I am upside down on a loan for a Ford Focus I got last year, if I only knew these cars where coming out later, I would have never gotten the Focus. I admire your perseverance and look forward to owning a Cooper maybe by next year, I just don't have the money to pay off the Focus and get on the Cooper. It is very strange, I have never been so into a car like I am now with the Minis. Congrats on your car!

These cars have that effect on all of us. I really did have to wait though. I've wanted one since I started reading about them 2 years ago. It was seeing one in the flesh in Feb. that made it a must have. If you want one bad enough, you'll find a way too. Good luck, MB

I'd love to participate in any MINI gathering. I'm near Winter Haven...and I seem to be the only MINI owner around here... So I'd love to get together with any other Mini Freaks...

 

Now we're getting somewhere. I'd like to see a couple more people speak up, but we can get started anyway. I'm usually off on Sat. & Sun. How about a date two or three weeks off so we can add more people? I could use some help, so give me your thoughts. Let's Motor, MB

The FL Group is just too far for me to get to from Tampa. If anyone in this part of the state is up for it, please let me know.

SoFla native also, still waiting to order my S. I'd love to attend any future South Florida MINI meetings. In Davie (every friday evening) there a car show at the Home Depot shopping center parking lot, met a MINI owner out there a couple of weeks back, we'd like to see more MINIs out there.

Hi Omeed! I've been to the Davie meet at Tower Shoppes. Have I met you? I drive Super Cooper - the Chili Red MC customized with superman emblems,etc. I also moderate Florida Mini Owners Online Have you joined yet?

Caribayb, our next meet in Ft. Lauderdale may very well be worth the drive from Tampa. Then again you could hold out for the possibility of Palm Beach Meet in October.
