Daytona is not like Orlando. Traffic won't be a problem, particularly around the loop.

I'll be cruising down A1A and taking the loop to our meet spot. I am pretty sure that we'll meet where we met last time (which is my father's business). However things work out, I'd be happy to have company for the ride.

I was just talking with our soon to be newest FL MINI owner Mully, and we were thinking maybe to head up to St. Augustine as part of the meet... for all you winos there is a winery there, maybe a tour is in order :smile: :smile: :smile:!!!!! It is about 40-50 minutes north of where we are meeting on A1A, a very pretty drive. Just a thought for this or a future meet. If you haven't been there it is one of the oldest, if not the oldest city in the country, and really picturesque!

Oohhh...St. Augustine!! We need another meet up there! Last year, when we drove through town, people were coming out of the shops and cafes to take pics of us...people were getting off the tour trolleys to video tape us!! LOL...

i don't normally plan events more than 4 hours in advance but i'll put this one on my calendar. i've been living the life of a nomad with nothing to tie me down! i can't be asked to say where i'll be in six weeks!!! :smile:

Well I do have at least one final exam on the 21st. A Saturday. Go figure. I do not know if it will be in the morning or afternoon yet. I will try and find out Monday exactly when it is. Any ideas of times the meet will be starting? A little motoring will be a welcome relief after an exam!

Okay... Still working on the details, but its getting there. I have a few questions...
1. Do people want to bring what they want grilled, or would they rather bring like buns, chips, condiments, etc, with us providing the meats (probably hot dogs and burgers...maybe some chicken.)
2. Would you rather do the drive, then eat around noon (hot time of the day,) or meet in the early afternoon and have an early dinner (Joe, any idea when finals are that day?)
3. How many would be interested in driving ON THE BEACH after the bbq?
