Still no word on a Downtown MINI meet. Anyone interested in planning an informal meet in Orlando in the next 2 weeks?

No it wasn't but dangit all someone's using my "bee" idea! I have a plate frame now that says "the lil yellow bee" and a bee on my antenna (as of today, yay!) and a big happy face on my rear window.

I'm kind of crunched for time through mid-May but I'd love to get together toward the end of the month!

Anyone else?

I proposed May 24 in another thread recently, but I think it got sidetracked. We may have to wait until the deals gap excitement subsides to finalize anything, but I'll throw that date back out there. The previous thread also mentioned the Citrus Tower as a meeting place, we could go with that too.

Thoughts?

I proposed a get-together in the next two weeks because I will be in Amsterdam/Germany from May 22nd to June 5th. Wanted to do something before I left. Are there a few who want to meet up before May 22 or should we plan something for mid-June?

I just realized that I need to look at my work schedule before I can commit to anything. I'll pick that up tonight, so I'll know soon. I'll let ya know. I am game for it if I'm off...lol.
I just spoke with Electrc109 about a Daytona Meet... He's on a road trip from mid May until early June... We were thinking about the middle of June for that. So far, we have some great ideas... June 21st sound good??

June 21st for a Daytona Meet is good for me. Keep us posted with the details.

Also let me know if you want to plan a meet in Orlando before May 22. If a few people want to come, I'll pick a time and date. May 10th is a possibility.

Hi everyone! I'm in Jacksonville and I'm expecting my MINI to be delievered around the middle of May. I would definately like to meet up with some fellow motorers after my MINI finally arrives...it will be my first meet! I will keep checking back for more info.

There were no responses about an Orlando meet this month. I guess we'll wait until the Daytona meet on June 21st.

I have been told that the Downtown MINI meet is May 18th, but I haven't been able to confirm that. Has anyone been definitely told that the 18th is the date?

The Tampa group keeps talking about a monthly meet. Let's discuss setting one up for the Orlando group. Every 1st Tuesday or 2nd Thursday or whatever. Ideas?

Motored down to Tampa yesterday for some shopping in Hyde Park. Saw one red MINI on I-4 and one on Rome Ave.

If Downtown is doing something on the 18th I haven't heard a single word about it till your post here. I'd love to go if so.

I'm also very interested in a regular Orlando meet.
