Nov. 22 is the date for the ocala gran prix event, sorry about that.

We are also running in St Pete on Nov. 15 at the sunriders autocross.

Also note that as of right now, Nov 5th, the wallismotorsport sight is only opperating on email, just click on the cover and email me any questions.
Hopefully by friday we should have more info posted.

 

I would not use their site. I tried to register there and the site is NOT secure, meaning your credit card # could get into the wrong hands. :evil: :evil: :evil:

if you are uneasy about registering online then just call it in, dont let something like that keep you from this event.

Geeze 300 cars. How many runs are we going to get?? I hope more then 1 or 2. Thats a long way to drive for 1 or 2 runs.

That's what I said when I found out how many they were planning on running.
300 cars with 2 on the track at the same time, 8 hours just doesn't seem to be enough time to run that many cars multiple times. Watching is fun, but not nearly as fun as I expect doing multiple runs will be. I hope we're not going to just be doing a bunch of sitting around and watching.

Just got an email back from Ocala Grand Prix
#1. The security problem on thier site has been fixed.
#2. There are about 100 registered as of now, but Ferman is sending out invitation cards to about 600 MINI (!) owners so who knows how many will show up and thereby reduce the number of runs we get. Oh well, it'll be nice to see a good variety of MINIs out there regardless of how many runs we get.
