within about the next month or 2 I will be moved in to a little town called Ocala (about 1hr North of Orlando), and was wondering if there are very many MINI's that are within about an hour of me, because I want to make some MINI friends pretty quickly. Thanks.

 

Not sure who's in your area (I live in Dunedin) but if you're in FL June 21st you should come to THIS. It's not a bad drive from Ocala.

Ocala to Daytona Beach is only 70 miles distance. You'll get there in about 1 hour or less.

Sorry I am in Miami (About 290 miles south from you) but we would love to have you in our Daytona meet this coming Saturday June 21st!


Come to think of it, this is our first Florida wide MINI meet!

 

You will want to meet Dion and Melanie Jardine. Dion operates DJ Minis in Ocala (djminis.com) and is a retailer for MiniSport out of the UK. He sells MINI and Mini spares and accessories as well as classic Mini sales, repairs etc. Nice folks. He can hook you up with other ocala Mini-ers and with FLAME (Florida Mini Enthusiast) events.

 

I will be ordering a MCS as soon as we sell our boat so I am expecting by december I will have it. I live 30 minutes south of Jacksonville in fleming island (orange park area).
