Something amiss in the neighborhood?

I notice that there seems to be some strange goings on here at NAM today.
  1. I haven't gotten a single email notification for thread updates.
  2. The number of thread views is not counting correctly on certain threads - as verified with other Members via IM.
  3. The MOTD registration counts have been fluctuating UP and DOWN - and not matching posts in the "Come On 500" thread.
There may be other things, but that's what I can personally attest to.
For Mark's sake I hope there is a simple explanation!

I've been getting email notifications of new threads and thread updates all day long. As for the thread views I haven't changed anything that would changed this but I'll look to see if I can reproduce it.

The MOTD registration counts have been fluctuating as I've been ironing out bugs. The numbers showing now are accurate. With the changes I implemented in registration this year there were many bugs I introduced but I think most of them have been resolved now.

Thanks

Mark

I've been having trouble loading pages here today. But I've been having that problem, and with this site only, for several weeks. I don't know enough about computers to guess what's going on, but it seems to have coincided with the forum reorganization and the addition of the Google ads.

Well, I got the email notice for this thread.

i dunno... I rebooted (Windows) - just because.

I'll let you know if the weirdness continues. Otherwise I'll chalk it all up to some anomaly.

So now I'm getting email notices about thread updates but my PM count randomly changed to 30 unread messages? When I looked, they are really old ones.

At least some weirdness continues... Nothing major, but weird.

...just to add to the running tab...

I see that my "checkmark" for attending the MOTD Brew Swap seems to have disappeared but I'm still in the attendees list (whew!).

(mielnicki actually spotted this one first on his login.)

This has been resolved. It turns out that when you registered you used MINI2Go versus Mini2Go. Since the case was different it wasn't matching up when you viewed the event planner.

Thanks! Sorry to make you chase that down - I guess I never had the check mark to begin with.

It's been a long day - maybe all of this stuff is just me being thick-headed and fat-fingered. I should probably just go to bed...

Thanks again for checking into even these little goofy things, Mark!
