US Cellular Ad

If that damn US Cellular ad doesn't quit popping up when I accidentally roll over it, I'm going to take a .44 magnum to my computer monitor!

Not that the site owners want to hear this but try running AdBlock or something similar. Also, have you been shopping or searching on info for Phones?

No I haven't been shopping/searching for phones. I don't mind most of the ads on this site. It's just that with the U.S Celluylar ad I keep accidentally rolling over it and the video starts. When I try to close it the rollover opens it again. This happens multiple times before I get it to close. Maybe I should use a popup blocker on this site.

I don't mind the sponsored links and ads.. Gotta pay the bills, but I can't deal with the pop up ads over the photos. I'm not going to click on the little moving X every time I want to look at a photo. End of story. I've loved this website since I found it in '06, but this is a deal breaker for me.

Do you have a click through URL and screen shot? I can pass it along to IB and see if one particular offending ad can be dealt with, if it's several it's going to be more of a challenge.

Weird, I don't see them them anymore. They were rollover ads on top of EVERY photo, and they expanded to cover 3/4 of the photo with a transparent google ad with an X in the upper right corner. Now I can't find a single one.. The damnedest thing.

That sounds like it may be the difference of being logged in vs logged out; or an adblock program being turned on if previously disabled.
