I know there are many great write-ups with illustrative photos and step-by-step instruction here on NAM. But often I find myself spending unnecessary time searching to locate the correct post. Sometimes, because the write-up is older, I had to search through many threads before finding the one I want. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Perhaps it might be a good idea to have a designated "How-to" forum to post DIY projects and write-ups. Is it possible to compile and consolidate all the old How-to posts into one single forum?

If you agree, please voice your opinions here!

Great idea. I have found a couple of them very useful (e.g., EuroShelf installation) but did need to search to find them.

Personally I've been wanting something better than a forum to hold FAQs/How-tos. The problem is organization...now that the car has been out for a while and there are lots of things you can do to it. Keeping these in some type of hierarchy is critical for members to find the information they are looking for. Given this I have been looking for systems that could be integrated that might provide a better means of doing this and will be trying to address this in the new site design...which I'm trying to work on at the moment.

Hopefully I can provide a more detailed report on the site progress soon....I need to go underground a while so I can focus on it for a while

Mark

PS - Moving to Site Feedback....

I think that will be very beneficial to many MINI owners!
