At one point this worked pretty reliably, but seems to never work lately. Browser incompatibility? (IE6.0) Does anyone else have this problem?

Mark if I want to edit a post I get a bbCode thing in my signature after I submit the original post after the edit takes place. Any reason why??

This seems like a different question that the original thread but I'll answer it the best I can. I've had the same thing happen to me and the way I fixed it was to use the actual bbCodes in my account's signature (Main menu/My Account/Change Your Info). If you just have html in your signature the forum code will not translate it correctly for some reason and therefore displays non-bbCode or html.

This is something that I've never played with or noticed before. I think that an upgrade to new forum software should resolve these type of issues. I'll update everyone as I'm able to make progress on that front. Thanks!

Mini2go and Mark,

You have the right issue. It seems to be tied to multi-page posts, in particular. It worked on at least one post tonight (catching up after being on vacation!) and on one other took me to the first page of many.

Ciao,

Jeff

I second the multi-page post theory above. The "Start at first new post" button works fine on single page threads, but not on multi-page threads - it always brings me to the first post on the first page.

hey, the search function worked, I found this thread

Mark, any update on this? It's still not working, e.g. it brings me to the first post of the thread instead of the newest entry in a multi-page thread.

Thanks....

No update other than I'm working on an overall upgrade to the site. This is but one of the many reasons I want to get off the current software platform. Thanks for your patience
