i'm sorry but there are plenty of people that post useless crap on this site and people who are out right rude...
i can't believe you would stoop down to BMW's level and target the mighty miniz group.
mark im sorry but MCO has made a complete 180. in the time that i have used MCO i treasured this site... i no longer do because of the people that post on here.
if you want to ban me because of the mighty miniz logo in my signature go ahead....... but its the same as showing your car with aftermarket wheels or something in your sig... go target those people too....
i'm completely disappointed in this decision.. and good luck with the site and name change...

I agree with your post. What is done is done. Mark and the MCO moderators have done what they need to do for the site.
We need to put all that has been done behind us.
We need to carry on forward in a direction that we wish to go.
We need to be thankful for the MCO community that we DO have.
We need to invite other MINI enthusiast to share in our delight for the MINI and in our concern when problems do arise.
We need to be twice as happy when the good things happen and half as sad when the bad things happen.

It isn’t that hard? It is only hard if we want it to be hard.
We don't have to make this difficult we need to make it easy.

So everybody take a deep breath. Count to 20 really slowly. Don't think too much. Re -read this post before you do anything else.

>>There has been a communication breakdown or mark isnt responding to dougs emails and PM's concerning this matter...anyways I will post on dougs behalf:

I will post a final response to this and then I am done...I have a lot of positive things I can be doing for the site rather than debating these actions until hell freezes over.

The action has been taken therefore PMs and emails from Doug will not be answered. I have spent many hours already trying to offer ways to have everyone play nicely on the site without success. This has been a waste of time and effort better put forward into other site-related goals.

I did not take this action lightly and without reason. I do not intend to report every infraction to the membership as it will only create threads like this one where I am being accused of facism and meglomania. The fact is even if I brought these issues up people would only likely see that one instance. In this case it was a long running and developing set of complex problems. 2cool4school was easy and obvious what needed to be done. In the space of a day or two it was obvious to everyone what needed to be done...these issues developed over a much longer period of time.

As for your inquiries about your own posts...I will look into this to see what the issues were. With the current work load related to the site I may not immediately be able to respond to each and every message posted or emailed to me.

In the interest of getting back to talking about MINIs (and hoping that we'll be able to still speak to each other in the morning) I'm locking this thread. If there are additional ideas or points of discussion please feel free to start a new thread of discussion....I just ask that everyone remain civil in your posts . Thanks

Mark
