Call to action: Need for a new NAM logo!

Anyone notice that the gearshift pattern on the NAm logo is woefully outdated? It is only a 5-speed pattern (or a 6-speed with no reverse).

Since all new MINIs are 6-speed (manuals & autos), it's time for a new logo?

As a designer, I hate the idea of "design by committee," and I don;t know who ultimately would make the decision to change the actual logo on the site.

Who's for a new logo?

It was designed as it was to give the hint of a shift pattern....not to be an actual shift pattern.

Hey, I'm an R56 person and I'm fine with it the way it is.

Life is all about other people grouping me in groups I don't want to be grouped with.

Because that is R50/R53 thinking; now it needs to be bigger and more refined to be more marketable.

Before the flames come, the above is a comment made in JEST!
