so i noticed this new little feature of showing the date the thread was started when looking at new posts/forums, clever but makes it really busy looking. anyway we can turn that off as a user or make it less contrasting off of the background color?

At first I too thought it made for a very busy looking page, but now after a second visit to the site I can see how helpful all the extra info is to me and I no longer find it as busy looking. It's a change and we all loathe change. In time you wonder how you lived out all the extra, or you may not. I have no idea if these changes are user definable or not. It would be nice if they were.

It would look a lot cleaner just by dropping the time. The date by itself is enough to show how old the thread is.

This was added primarily because of this thread regarding new post feedback. If it isn't helpful across the site (forum display, search results, etc.) it can easily be removed. Just let me know

no no no.. i like the feature, it's just aesthetically very jumbled and hard to read. im getting used to it but there seems to be a lot of stuff to sift thru in order to look at thread titles now.

maybe if there was no time stamp, just a date and/or it was a lighter color?

Is there anyway that the text Started can be removed? That may help a lot with the clarity.

I agree with this. The date each thread originated is helpful, but the exact time isn't truly necessary. It's very hard on the eyes.

OK...I've removed the exact time and the "Started" text. Let me know if this helps. I can also remove it altogether if people want.

Very cool and useful idea - I like seeing the date the thread was started!
